A sablé cookie made with flour and almond flour originates from Sablé-sur-Sarthe in the Normandy region of France, dating back to the 17th century. The term sablé means "sand"
Two sizes are available- Large 4" and Petite Daisy cookies.
Sable's are delicate and flavorful with the addition of premium European butter, egg, all-purpose flour, pure vanilla bean and fine milled blanched almond flour. Eat them plain, dusted with sugar or as a double cookie filled with a favorite preserve or chocolate hazelnut filling.
The Petaled Daisy is 4” approximately and filled with premium preserves or chocolate hazelnut filling.
